Develop clear and distinctive market positioning for both our Delilites and Planet Café Brands in the respective Retail and Foodservice trade channels.
Work closely with the Head of Commercial to support the Commercial team with their SGP targets ensuring that all our Brands are further developed in line with our strategic commercial objectives.
Work closely with the Head of Food Innovation and Development to ensure that all Branded new product developments (NPD) are aligned to our strategic marketing plan and are driven by product category and consumer insights.
Identify and quantify, new, profitable growth opportunities by pulling together consumer and market trends to justify our focus and to help secure any required capex requirements.
Develop unique selling points (USPs) that help protect and grow our business and to give clear distinction between Branded and private label customer development.
Quantify the size of our target markets and regularly track our market share across all target trade channels and product sectors.
Regular review of sales and margin by product sector to ensure we are in line with our SGP.
Continuous monitoring of our competitive set and developing trends across all our target product sectors.
Management of our internal marketing team and defined out-sourcing agencies.
Ensure all team job descriptions are up to date.
Clear social media strategy to be implemented and developed/managed to help deliver on the Brands commercial targets as set out in the SGP.
Regular meetings with internal marketing team, and out-sourced agencies, to ensure continued focus to the delivery of our SGP.
Management of the marketing budget to ensure that we have controlled spend targeted towards supporting the delivery of our SGP.
As part of controlling the marketing budget, propose and manage the proposed trade show activity, acquired market data intelligence and consumer research spend, sponsored events, PR / social media activity and presence at target awards ceremonies.
Active member of business sustainability team with a strong focus on upholding B Corp principles as part of core Brand values.
Management of all internal and external business communications.
Active member of the SLT and company crisis management team.
Attend the monthly SLT meeting with key marketing updates.
Hold monthly internal marketing meeting to engage with SLT on key marketing focus initiatives.
