Matthew started with us as a finance ledger in 2015, but his career path has developed massively since then. At the time of joining DELI LITES Matthew was undertaking a BSc (Hons) in Business Studies at Ulster University after he had completed a National Diploma in Business. Finance had always been a path that he was eager to pursue, given a chance to work in a real-life environment cemented his aspirations.
Within a short period of six months Matthew moved on to Accounts Payable and now has comfortably planted his feet in his new role as our Cost Accountant. Throughout his journey, he has continuously shown eagerness for self-improvement to benefit himself and the company. He plans to complete his CIMA Finance Leadership Programme within the next few years.
Recently he attended training and acquired certification for Intact IQ, our new ERP system which will allow us to streamline our processes, integrate resource sharing between departments and allow for better resource planning. We are proud to work alongside Matthew and are excited to see his role develop further.
